Solicitation Number: Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Synopsis: This combined synopsis/solicitation, VA243-16-Q-0795, is being issued as a small business set-aside, Request for Quotation. Northern America Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 322219, Other Paperboard Container Manufacturing. The VA New Jersey Healthcare System has a requirement for Nutrition and Food Service Paper Goods and Supplies for the East Orange, NJ and Lyons, NJ campuses. This will result in one base year plus four option years contract. There will only be one contract awarded from this solicitation. Contractor must be capable of supplying all items listed on RFQ. Submissions must be made using the attached Request For Quotation following directions stated in Box 20 of the cover sheet (SF1449). Evaluations Factors: Award will be made on the basis of Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable. Price will be the primary consideration; however, quoted items must be technically acceptable. Therefore, the Government reserves the right to award to other than lowest quote if that quote does not demonstrate conformity to the technical specifications. All firms or individuals responding must meet all standards required to conduct business with the Government, including registration with SAM and be in good standing. All qualified responses will be considered by the Government. Quotes must include Socio-economic status, CAGE/DUNS number, federal tax number and company's point of contact information. Please provide your submission to Network Contracting Office 2 no later than 10am EST 14 September 2016. All submissions should be sent via email to: Paul.Speedling@va.gov. Facsimiles are not acceptable. Questions regarding this requirement must be submitted via email, with sufficient time to do any research to answer question prior to the closing of this posting. Responses received after the stated deadline will be considered non-responsive and will not be considered. In accordance with FAR 52.212-1(k), prospective awardees shall be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award and be in good standing. Offers may obtain information on registration at www.sam.gov. Failure to provide SAM registration may result in your quote being disqualified from consideration.
