REQUIREMENT: ELECTRIC LEG KITS FOR DESKS CUSTOMER: VA MEDICAL CENTER, PORTLAND, OR 97239 POC: JOHN ROSKOWSKI 360-816-2753 peter.roskowski@va.gov VAPORHCS Portland Electric Leg Kits for Rectangular Work Surfaces SECTION A: STATEMENT OF WORK Facility currently uses Herman Miller modular work surfaces and tops. Facility is requesting adjustable-height, electric set of legs for existing rectangular work surfaces. This request is to fulfill VAPORHCS Employee Health referrals for Ergo Sit-To-Stand desks. Facility will repurpose existing work surface tops to make the standing desks. ALL PRODUCTS MUST BE ON GSA CONTRACT OR MANUFACTURED IN A FRIENDLY COUNTRY. REFERENCE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF STATE FOR MORE INFORMATION. Electric Leg Kit for Rectangular Work Surfaces: 48"W x 24"D and 60"W x 24"D All electric leg bases shall drop-ship unassembled and require simple hand tools to install, and provided with all hardware components to fully assemble in premises. All components shall be provided by manufacturer, for drop-ship at the Vancouver warehouse facility. SECTION B: Basis of Electric Legs Specifications All electric table bases have requirements as specified below. Overall Salient Characteristics for table base kit, for 24"deep work surfaces - Qty. (15): oIndependent 2-leg electric leg kit transforms existing work surfaces into height adjustable table tops. oC-Leg Type Size: Depth: 14-1/8"D - 26"H - 28-7/8"W (C Leg width). oStandard adjustable height range (for electric extended range): 22"- 48". (see line drawing below) oWith simple up/down operating switch. oStiffener or crossbar required for 60"W work surfaces. oLeg access (electric standard range). oFrame set & foot kit finish: Metallic silver. oC-legs shall have adjusting glides. oGREENGUARD certification or equivalent, and 100% recyclable. SECTION C: DELIVERY: Drop ship to Vancouver WA 98661warehouse facility. All electric leg kits shall ship unassembled and require simple hand tools to install. SECTION D: Required Bid Package: "Submit any questions in writing to John Roskowski, VISN 20 Contracts Specialist, via email: peter.roskowski@va.gov. "The medical center expects a lead time of 4-5 weeks after contract has been awarded to the vendor. "Include warranty and Greenguard Certification information for each manufacturer as well as proof that furnishings meet the spec and salient characteristics, and are designed for a healthcare environment. "The quote should include but not limited to: specification cut sheets, and a schematic line drawings of proposed furniture items, with dimensions per bill of materials with product subtotal and total cost. "After contract is awarded, changes may occur with special attention focused on finish colors and choices, all to be determined and approved by VAPORHCS interior designer. Quoted prices should include delivery terms, warranty information and government contract number, if applicable. FOB: Destination
