- Sole Source Justification Letter The 11th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland intends to award a sole-source, contract to Mt. Ever Climb for a Continuous Rope Climbing Machine. The contractor will provide a rope climbing machine that will provide a steady, continuous, and motorized movement climbing a rope, in addition to performing a variety of exercises. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements". The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 423910, Other Computer Related Services, with a size standard of 100 employees. The resulting contract will be firm-fixed price. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose if determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information, if it is proprietary in nature. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice, and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in preparation of any capabilities statements or documents prepared for this notice. A confirmation of Government receipt will be the contractor's responsibility. No solicitation is available and telephone requests for information will not be accepted. All responses shall be sent via e-mail and referencing solicitation number F1D3776099AW02 to Archie Y. Warren, Contract Specialist, at archie.y.warren.civ@mail.mil. If no response is received by 12:00 P.M. EST, 14 SEPTEMBER 2016, an award will be pursued with the vendor indicated above.
