- PWS - Geomech Modeling V2 - Final Updated 9.7.16 Questions and Answeres to Solicitation R16PS01744 Geomechanical and Flow Modeling R16PS01744 Amendment 001 Geomechanical and Flow Modeling SEE ATTACHED AMENDMENT 1 SEE ATTACHED SOLICITATION PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE: Solicitation No. R16PS01744: Geomechanical and Flow Modeling The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region has a requirement for a Geomechanical and Flow Modeling Services in and near the Paradox Valley Unit (PVU) area, Colorado. The principal components of the work include appraisal-level analysis of multiple potential disposal well sites, describing the evolution of various physical properties within the numerical models (such as pore pressure and stress) given an assumed injection history and initial stress state. The contractor's analysis shall analyze up to 5 potential new injection sites in the Paradox Valley area identified by Reclamation, as well as the existing PVU injection well. COMPETITION: Solicitation R16PS01744 is anticipated to be full and open competition resulting in a firm fixed price purchase order. The requirement shall be procured in accordance with Subparts 12 and 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Quote. The Government reserves the right to award with or without discussions. The complete specifications will be defined in the solicitation documents. NAICS AND SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS code for this procurement is 541360. SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The anticipated release date for Solicitation No. R16PS01744 is August 29, 2016 The anticipated Quote due date is September 7, 2016 at 12:00 hours local time (MDT). The solicitation documents for this procurement will be accessible from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, www.fbo.gov and FedConnect, www.fedconnect.net.
