- Sole Source Justification Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE Marine Corps Installation West Regional Contracting Office (MCIWEST RCO) intends to award a purchase order on a Sole Source basis on or about August 19, 2016 to HydroWorx International Inc. Per reference FAR 13.50(a)(1), the contracting officer has determined that only one source is reasonably available. The prospective contractor shall provide Three Year Worx Service Plan with two annual scheduled planned preventative maintenance visits per year and a three year warranty to include repairs, replacement and restore all consumable parts which may become defective due to normal use or wear for the following: Controls, Treadmill System, Circulation System, Lift System, Window Seals, shaft Seals, Nuts and Bolts. Conduct preventative maintenance inspections every six months/bi-annually to include inspection, test adjustments and lubrication of all parts pertaining to the equipment. Clean the pool liner, Treadmill, Stainless Steel, Front Windows, Side Windows, and Pool Decking. Overall to increase the longevity and performance of the equipment. Sole Source Letter attached. The North American Industry Classificaiton System(NAICS) code for this requirement is 339920 with the size standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for proposal or quote; however, all responsible sources may submit technical capabilities, which if received within ten calendar days of publication of this notice, shall be submitted to the Government point of contact at the email address shown below. monique.garcia@usmc.mil
