- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit and award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole-source basis to Liquid Robotics, Inc. The requirement is for a prototype system for use in the evaluation of a long-standoff subsurface and above surface target detection system in the maritime environment. The prototype system will consist of two maritime network nodes; LRI Sensor Hosting Autonomous Remote Craft (SHARC) SV3 Unmanned Surface Vehicles (wave gliders) equipped with a sensor payload system to demonstrate the target detection concept. This includes the requirements to procure, integrate, build, test and evaluate an unmanned maritime sensor network system for detection of specific subsurface, surface and airborne threats. Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13 apply. The applicable NAICS Code is 541712 and the business size standard is 1,000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for quote. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Questions by phone or fax will not be considered. All responding vendors must be registered to the System for Award Management (SAM) website prior to award of contract. Information can be found at https://www.sam.gov/.
