FedBizOpps Posting - Solicitation Solicitation Number: Agency: Department of the Army Office: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Location: U.S. Army Engineer District Mobile Category X (Lease or rental of facilities), NAISC Code 531 Synopsis: The Department of the Army seeks to lease approximately 14,000 to 15,000 square feet of usable contiguous office space in Huntsville, Alabama. Requested space must be fully serviced and in a building that can be customized to meet the Government's needs and security requirements. The building must meet Federal Government standards for fire safety, energy star compliant, and must be ADA compliant and be located outside a 100 year floodplain. The building must be able to accommodate 100 to 120 personnel and include furniture for all. a. Requirement includes  2 Conference Rooms  Reception Area/Lobby Area  Communication Closets  Separate Men and Women Restrooms  Large Break/Kitchen Areas  Janitor Closets For The Storage of All Cleaning Supplies  100-120 Parking Spaces. DELINEATED AREA: The building must be located within the following area of Wynn Dr NW to the east, University Square to the north, University Drive NW to the south, and Old Monrovia Rd NW to the west. Please see the attached map of the delineated area. LEASE TERM: The lease term is one (1) year firm term, with one (1) option years commencing November 2016 through December 2018. SUBMISSION OF REQUIREMENTS: Expressions of interest must be submitted by 16 September 2016 in writing. A proposal will be selected by 23 September 2016. Submission should include the following information at a minimum (This is a request for proposals) Please see the attached Proposal Form for submittal: 1. Building name/address. 2. Rentable square feet available and the expected rental rate per rental square foot, fully serviced. 3. Date of space availability. 4. Building ownership information. 5. Amount of parking available on site. 6. One-eighth inch scale drawing of space offered. 7. Name, address, telephone number, and email address of authorized contact. 8. In cases where an agent is representing an owner, written acknowledgement. 9. All new vendors must provide completed/pending registration in SAM.gov. A cage code must be established before a proposal can be considered.
