- NASA/GRC has a requirement for the Woman of Color STEM Conference. The Career Communications Group (CCG) corporate and government partner s use the conference as opportunity to connect with 4, 000 to 7,000 conference attendees. They use their exhibit space to discuss jobs, careers, their diversity programs and their organization, with potential applicants and other interested attendees. The purchase partne r s h ip is between the Office of Diversit y and Equal Opportunity, The Office of Education, Langley Research Center and Glenn Re searc h Center. NASA/GRC intends to purchase the services from CAREER COMMUNICATIONS GROUP, INC. (CCG,INC.) 729 E PRATT ST FL 5 BALTIMORE, MD 21202-3302. The CCG, Inc. is the only source capable of providing the services required at the level of quality required because the services are unique. The Sole Source is under the authority of FAR reference 13.106-1(b) 1 and Subpart 6.302-1. The conference is taking place October 13-15, 2016 at Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance, Detroit, MI. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:00 p.m. local time on September 12, 2016. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
