- 9/7/16: This is a Notice of Intent to issue a contract to Waste Management of Alameda County, Inc., 800 S. Temescal St., Corona CA 92879 on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The proposed procurement is for waste management and recycling services in support of the American Forces Network-Broadcast Center (AFN-BC), Riverside CA. Period of Performance: 01 Oct 2016-31 Sep 2017 a. DESCRIPTION: CLIN 0001: Trash Disposal: Provide one (1) 40 cubic yard container Trash Disposal: Provide one (1) 40 cubic yard container, with removal/disposal service IAW the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). CLIN 0002: Trash Disposal: Provide two (2) 6-cubic yard containers Provide two (2) 6-cubic yard containers, weekly removal/disposal service IAW the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). CLIN 0003: Recycle Service: Provide 1ea 6 Cubic yard recycle containers Provide 1ea 6 Cubic yard recycle containers, weekly removal/disposal service IAW the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). This announcement constitutes the only notice; and a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to perform by responding to this notice by the specified closing date. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however the Government will consider all proposals received by the closing date specified in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
