- Description
- This notice is hereby updated to release Request for Proposal (RFP) EDOCM17R0001 for "Presidential Scholars Program Support Services." The acquisition is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13.5. Please note that this solicitation is being released subject to the availabilty of funds. The resulting contract from this solicitation is planned for award in October 2016. The U.S. Department of Education (the Department), Office of Communications and Outreach (OCO) is responsible for assisting the White House Commission on Presidential Scholars in implementing the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program authorized by Executive Order 11155, as amended by Executive Orders 12158 and 13697, found at: http://www.ed.gov/programs/psp/legislation.html. OCO requires the services of a Contractor to provide technical and logistical support for the annual identification, evaluation, selection and recognition of 161 U.S. Presidential Scholars from an eligible candidate pool of roughly 5,600 graduating high school seniors from across the United States and abroad, as well as to enter data, develop reports, and provide application-related assistance to users of OLAS. The Contractor shall provide expert educational advice on current scholastic assessment practices, standardize testing and the methodology and procedures for identifying high-achieving students, and shall also support the Commission‘s annual selection and recognition process. Attachments: Please read all attachments to the RFP including Attachment A - Performance Work Statement Attachment B - Instructions to Offerors Attachment C - Evaluation Criteria Proposals are due no later than 12:00noon EDT on September 27, 2016. RFP questions are due no later than 2:00pm EDT on September 12, 2016. Please follow all instructions contained in the RFP and Attachment B.
