Description

Approved Sole Source Justification for W81K04-11-P-0045 Note: Approved Sole Source Justification (redacted) added as of 7 September 2016. The Health Readiness Contracting Office (Provisional) (HRCO(P)) - Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, TX, intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price (FFP) modification on contract #W81K04-11-P-0045 to Uptodate, Inc., located in Waltham, MA, DUNS: 824945448, CAGE: 1RLC2. The purpose of the sole source modification is to incorporate FAR Clause 52.217-8, Extension of Services, into the contract. The statutory authority permitting the acquisition of this requirement by other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). Uptodate, Inc. is the only responsible source capable of satisfying the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Libraries, Army Medical Department - Medical Library and Information Network (AMEDD MEDLI-NET) requirement for an Electronic Clinical Reference Database Subscription. The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code is 519130 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. Points of contact (POCs) are Ms. Selena R.
