Description

The F-35 Joint Program Office intends to issue a modification to delivery order 0026 under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-14-G-0020, on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, Fort Worth, TX to provide a second Verification and Validation Station (VVS) Modification Kit for the FMS Reprogramming Lab. The proposed order is anticipated to be awarded no later than 31 October 2017. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, and in accordance with J&A 350215, approved 14 October 2014. This notice of intent is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
