- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, PA has a requirement for project 693-16-920 Window Replacement Community Living Center (CLC). This project consists of, but not necessarily be limited to, providing all supervision, engineering, labor, materials, tools, equipment, testing and adjustments required for the de-construction, demolition, repainting, metal work and the installation of new windows at the Community Living Center of the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center. The magnitude of this VA construction project is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Period of Performance will be approximately 210 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. All work on this project must be accomplished between 7:00 PM and 4:00 AM Monday through Friday. Set-Aside Information: This solicitation is to be issued as a 100% service-disabled veteran small business set aside (SDVOSB). The firm must be small business under relevant North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code and the must be registered and current in the following websites: www.ccr.gov and www.vetbiz.gov. Offerors must ensure registrations in these websites are not expired and are correct, current and valid. The NAICS code for this project is 238350 - Finish Carpentry Contractors - Window Installation, and the small business size standard is $15 Million. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held within two weeks after issuance of the solicitation. The exact date/time/location of the conference will be specified in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted at the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov) on or about Sept 22nd, 2016.
