- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to IMMIX Technology, Inc., 8444 Westpark Drive Ste 200, McLean, VA, 22102-5112, (Cage Code: 3CA29) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East, MCAS Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for CATIA (Computer Aided Three-Dimensional Interactive Application) Software training and on-site coaching for one (1) year. Dassault Systemes (OEM) developed the CATIA software, and market research has revealed IMMIX Technology, Inc. is the only authorized source capable of providing the required service. Therefore, the government intends to procure these services on a sole source basis from IMMIX Technology, Inc., the only authorized U.S. education partner/distributor of the CATIA sofware, therefore the only source that can provide the required training and coaching on the existing CATIA software. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which, if received within fifteen (15) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
