- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE- (DSI) Upgrades NAICS: 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing Pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Research Triangle Park Procurement Operations Division (RTPPOD), at Research Triangle Park, NC intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed price purchase order to Data Sciences International (DSI) for the exchange/purchase of 20 HD-S11-F0 rat blood pressure/bio-potential/temperature/activity transmitters/telemeters for a DSI system currently owned by EPA. After being used, the transmitters/telemeters must be refurbished periodically. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. No solicitation or request for quote (RFQ) is available for this procurement. Notwithstanding, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, no later than noon, EST on 9-16-16 to Otelia Newsome at newsome.otelia@epa.gov. Responses to this posting shall be submitted in writing via e-mail only. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. A determination not to compete this purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government.
