Notice Type:Posted Date: Intent to Award Sole SourceSeptember 8, 2016 Original Set Aside:Response Date: Open Market - Non CompetitiveSeptember 13, 2016 @ 11:00 a.m. Classification Code:NAICS Code: J065 - Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding 811219 - Other Electronic and Precision of Medical Equipment Equipment Repair and Maintenance Synopsis: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7; hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements, to: HILL-ROM 1069 STATE ROUTE 46 EAST BATESVILLE, IN 47006 This requirement will consist of annual load testing and calibration with minor repairs to the Likorall Patient Lift equipment. A justification and approval for proprietary and manufacturer service has been submitted and attached as required by FAR 5.406. NO SOLICITATION WILL BE FORTHCOMING; THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. All interested, qualified, and certified parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Contracting Specialist, Cynthia Machuca at cynthia.machuca@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted.
