- The US Environmental Protection Agency Research Triangle Park Procurement Operations Division intends to issue a sole source extension for a period up to nine months in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This action will raise the contract cost ceiling of contract EP-D-11-006 with Eastern Research Group, Inc., 110 Hartwell Ave., STE 1, Lexington, MA 02421-3134. The contractor is performing requirements on an as-needed basis, involving quick-response work assignments relevant to source and ambient air quality characterization in both the United States and international settings. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
