Description

SECTION A - CONTRACT REQUIREMENT This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format specified in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only publication; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Veterans Affairs, West Texas VA Healthcare System located in Big Spring, TX requires Two (2) Washers and Two (2) Dryers. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89, effective August 15, 2016. The solicitation number is VA258-16-Q-0900, and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This acquisition is Full and Open. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 333318, Other Commercial and Service Machinery Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. Delivery will be 30 days after award. This combined synopsis/solicitation is not to be construed as a commitment by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
