Description

Sole Source J&A This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items (FAR Part 12) to procure GRAB-300 Active Barrier Preventative Maintenance Plan. The Government intends to award a sole source contract (FAR Part 13.5) for the above Service to the firm FutureNet Security Solutions, LLC, Franklin, TN 37067. Note: FutureNet Security Systems is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the GRAB and its associated proprietary components. The Proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. DELIVERY: 26 September 2016. All responses received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. For specific questions, please contact TSgt Seth I.
