- Amendment 000001- Offer response due date extension Offer due date extended to September 12, 2016 at 3:00pm. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a RFQ for Reusable Plstic Crates/Boxes in accordance with the attached statement of work NNK16600252Q. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 05-89. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 484210 with a small business size standard of $27.5M. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to NASA KSC (see SOW for details). Delivery shall be FOB Destination. Offers for the items described above are due by Sept 12, 2016 3:00pm EST to NASA KSC and must include: 1. Solicitation, Number 2. FOB Destination to KSC, 3. Proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, 4. Warranty duration (if applicable), 5. Taxpayer identification Number (TIN), 6. Identification of any special commercial terms, and 7. Signed by an authorized company representative. Offerors are encouraged to use the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form. The FAR may be obtained via the internet at URL: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffara.htm. The NFS may be obtained via the Internet at URL: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vfnasaa.HTM. All contractual and technical questions must be in writing e-mail to dorothy.b.dearborn@nasa.gov no later than August 29, 2016 at 11:00am EST. Telephone questions will not be accepted. Selection and award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Technical acceptability will be determined by review of information submitted by the offeror which must provide a description in sufficient detail to show that the product offered meets the Government's requirement. Offerors must include completed copies of the provision at 52.212-3 (July 2016), Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their offer. The provision may be obtained via the internet at URL: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffara.htm. Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.209-11, Representation by Corporations Regarding Delinquent Tax Liability or Felony Conviction under any Federal Law, which is incorporated by reference. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the offeror shall so state and shall list the country of origin. These representations and certifications will be incorporated by reference in any resultant contract. NASA Clause 1852.215-84 (NOV 2011), Ombudsman, is applicable.
