- Q24. In Amendment #2, the SF1449 was removed but in L.5.3.3 it states "the hard copy of the cover page shall include an original signature of an official authorized to legally bind the Offeror." Is that statement referring to the Acceptance of Package Page or the SF 1449? If the latter, do we still need to sign & submit the SF1449, even though it's been removed? A24. The Government will look for an original signature of an official authorized to legally bind the Offeror. That signature may be on the SF1449, or it may be on another single document page (such as the cover page). Please do not use the Acceptance of Package page, as the person delivering the package may not be the official authorized to legally bind.
