- Description
- Below is a list of questions & answers, clarifications, and changes to the original SOO. The information within this document supersedes any conflicting guidance within the SOO. •1. SOO indicates 70 Emergency Lighting points. Is this correct and where are they to be installed? •a. Installation locations all sleeping quarters, we have 21 in station 1 and 5 in station 2. Total of 26 sleeping areas. We have 44 is including the stalls, offices, hallways, and auxiliary rooms. •2. SOO indicates 14 bay doors to open, this is incorrect, 12 bay doors is the correct number. •3. Door unlocking mechanisms. SOO indicates 4. It will be 4-1 door adjacent to the ECC, 1 door for the primary entry, 1 door into the ECC, and the last will be Station 2's main entry door. •4. SOO indicates 15 video cameras. 15 video cameras is correct. 10 cameras at station 1 and 5 at station 2. •5. (From SOO) No less than 5 Station lighting activation device with timer - Further explanation: This means that we can actually turn on house lighting in 5 different locations. 4 Different locations and 1 "all-lighting" at the same time. •6. (From SOO) Voice Recording must be connected to specified emergency and administrative telephone, radio and public address systems with the ability to perform parameter specific replay at any of the installed User Interface positions (ECC Dispatcher, NCOIC ECC, and Alternate ECC Dispatcher Positions) Questions: Is there a Playback Station installed (allows query and listening of radio/telephone recordings)? If not, is one required? Furthermore; is the recording of the Public Address system a new requirement? Note: recordings are queried from the system logger, which is located at the zone core switching centers in Ramstein/Lakenheath. It is located at Ramstein, however the regulation requires us to have it stored on site and accessible to the on duty operator-currently the only way we can do that is engaging with Comm. to acquire it. •7. (From SOO) Direct Primary and Secondary Crash phone activation must automatically trigger the Emergency Public Address System, the "Red" Emergency Annunciation, the programmed Crash Emergency Annunciation Tone and Audio Recording System using a VOX like system (When the system detects a line connection, these systems are programmed to automatically activate their specified functions). Question: Is this a true requirement? Yes, this is a true requirement. The second that we receive a crash phone test, it is suppose to come over the PA system the second the dispatch operator picks up the phone. •8. Onsite training: Does the Air Force mean "Instructor led" training for this requirement? No, it's training on the individual use of the equipment to the amount of individuals specified. •9. All Security Surveillance Cameras must be connected to the User Interface natively - Further explained: This unifies all systems into a single interface as stated at the beginning.
