- Notice of Intent to award Sole Source The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Knox intends to award on a sole source basis a contract Unify, Inc. to provide maintenance support for 2 Siemens Hi Path 4000 switches that supports 14088 lines combined and 1 Siemens AP3700 Remote unit that supports 912 lines. Contractor shall provide 24 x 7 on line tech support and parts replacement. Shall include factory repair of faulty units when unit is returned at buyer's expense. Parts shall be repaired or replaced and returned within 14 days of receipt. Contractor shall provide software patches and fixes for the supported equipment and information requests for service from the buyer to seller for information transfer that assist in the resolution of issues that the government representative has determined needs to be fixed. In summary the following services shall be provide; 1. 24x7 telephone tech support with 2 hr response time 2. Next business day shipping of replacement parts 3. Required software updates for IAVA compliance (as applicable), enhanced features and bug fixes 4. On-site technical support and parts replacement shall be required, 8x5 Next Business Day 5. Remote access to the equipment for the selected vendor will be allowed by the government on a case by case basis for maintenance and troubleshooting. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. RESPONSES ARE DUE NOT LATER THAN 12 September by 2:00 PM ET at MICC - Fort Knox, to Lucy Vessels at leslie.m.vessels.civ@mail.mil.
