- SF-30 with pre-bid site visit notes and sign-in sheets, questions and answers, AMENDED SCHEDULE OF ITEMS, and AMENDED SECTION 07310 OF THE STATEMENT OF WORK. The US Forest Services, National Forests in North Carolina, has a requirement for the construction of a 4,000 SF Work Center on the Appalachain Ranger District. The site is located in Mars Hill, NC which is approximately 20 miles north of Asheville, NC. The magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The performace period is 300 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work to be performed under this project includes; construction of a complete single story wooden structure, parking ares, erosion control, utilities, site grading, storm drainage and other similiar types of work. A preprposal site visit is scheduled for August 29, 2016 at 9:30AM EST at the following address: Appalachian Ranger District 632 Manor Road Mars Hill, NC 28754 828-689-9694 This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The soliction will be posted to this site on or about 15 Aug 2016. Amendment 1 posted 8 Sep 2016.
