- NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Jacksonville, intends to procure services for Hazardous Material Control, Management and support ashore units Hazardous Material Supply issues and receipts, inventory and control at the Naval Air Station, Key West, FL. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The contractor shall provide all material, labor, and equipment to perform this service. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. Prospective bidders must bid on the base year. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quotation, conforming to this Request for Quotation (RFQ), will be most advantageous to the Government. This acquisition is being solicited as un-restricted basis, open market to NECO. The applicable NAICS Code is 493110; Size standard 27.5 Million. Solicitation N68836-16-T-0492 will be issued on 09 September 2016 and offers due on 13 September 2016. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO acquisition Business Web Site, https://www.neco.navy.mil/ No phone or fax request for copy of solicitation will be accepted. All interested bidders must also REGISTER AS INTERESTED VENDOR which is also located on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Registration Requirements: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required System for Award Management (SAM) applies to this procurement. You must be registered in the System for Award Management in order to be eligible to receive an award from this solicitation.
