This Presolicitation Notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. This Presolicitation Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. At this time, The Department of Veteran Affairs is not seeking quotes, and will not accept unsolicited quotes. Respondents are advised that the United States (U.S) Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Presolicitation Notice. All costs associated with responding to this Presolicitation Notice will be solely at the responding party's expense. Responses to the Presolicitation Notice will not be returned. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Not responding to this Presolicitation Notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ's. Responses to this notice are not quotes and cannot be accepted by the U.S Government to form a binding contract. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities (https://www.fbo.gov/ ) site for additional information pertaining to this Presolicitation Notice. 1.The West Palm Beach Medical Center located at 7305 N Military Trail West Palm Beach, FL 33410, intends to issue a Request For Quote (RFQ) for a custom replacement of an existing CaptiveAire SCS hood wash controller. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, and supervision necessary to remove and replace the existing Canteen hood wash control panel in accordance with the contract requirements specified below and per applicable industry standards and codes. 2.The Work shall include, but shall not be limited to the following: a.Remove existing hood wash control panel and associated piping and wiring necessary to facilitate replacement. b.Procurement of a suitable replacement Hood Wash Control Panel. i.A suitable replacement at a minimum shall be defined as a controller having three (3) wash zones, a 1 ½" manifold, programmable schedules, ability to control three (3) separate hood fans and a fire suppression system interface. ii.Startup, programing and operational testing as recommended by product manufacturer and listed standards. Type of contract will be a Fixed Price Service Contract. This procurement is being solicited as a Service Disabled Veteran Small Business set aside under NAICS code 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, size standard is 15 Million. A solicitation will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13 and will be posted on FedBizOpps (FBO) on or about August 13, 2016.
