AMENDMENT TO REMOVE REQUIREMENTS NO LONGER IDENTIFIED AS A MINIMUM GOVERNMENT NEED - REVISED SPECIFICATIONS INCLUDED AMENDMENT SPMYM216Q2080-0001 IS NOW POSTED DLA MARITIME - PUGET SOUND IS ISSUING a solicitation for (1) EA MATERIALS TESTING SYSTEM, INSTRON MODEL: 5985, CAPACITY: 250 KN, 250 KN LOAD CELL, 5KN LOAD CELL, FLOOR MODEL ADAPTER KIT, INSTRUMENT CONTROLLER, COMPRESSION PLATEN, FASTENER FIXTURE KIT, AUTOX EXTENSOMETER, AND ADDITIONAL ANCILLARY ADD-ONS. MFG: INSTRON (OR EQUAL). SOLICITATION INCLUDES REQUIREMENT FOR INSTALLATION AND TRAINING. This requirement will be solicited on unrestricted basis using the commercial item procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a firm fixed price (FFP) type commercial purchase order. This requirement will utilize low price technically acceptable evaluation factors in determining the successful offer. The FOB will be DESTINATION Silverdale, WA. RapidGate access for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and IMF will be required for installation and training activities described in the solicitation document. The RFQ will be posted to and available for download at http://fedbizops.gov/. The closing date of the solicitation will be 11:59PM on 17 Sep 2016, PST. OFFERORS WISHING TO SUBMIT AN OFFER ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DOWNLOADING THEIR OWN COPY OF THE RFQ from the aforementioned website and to frequently monitor those sites for any amendments. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office; NO TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE RFQ PACKAGE WILL BE ACCEPTED. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render vendor offers nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. FIRMS INTERESTED IN SUBMITTING PROPOSALS MUST: (1) complete the CLIN pricing, (2) COMPLETE ENTIRE SOLICITATION DOCUMENT to include representations and certifications, provisions and clauses, (3) provide all product technical specification documentation and technical compliance certifications, and (4) ensure current registration in the SAM system at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/sam.
