Description

This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only for market research. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources for service disabled veteran owned small business and veteran owned small business set asides relative to NAICS 334510. Written responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published in the Federal Business Opportunity (Fedbizopps) website and/or in GSA eBuy. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. The Veterans Affairs, Network 22 Contracting Office, is seeking sources for a potential contract to provide the following: This will be a onetime purchase order for Description: Quantity: DigiGait Imaging System for treadmill gait analysis1 EA DigiGait Rat Imaging Bundle1 EA Incline/decline lifting mechanism to study gait in animals1 EA Responses to this notice should include company name, address, point of contact, size of business pursuant to the following questions: (1) Is your firm a certified and verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small or Veteran-Owned Small Business?( IAW 38 U.S.C. 8127(d)) Does your company have a GSA Contract? If so, provide GSA Contract Number. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to the attention of Michelle Wilson, Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 22 Contracting Office (NCO/Supply II) at michelle.wilson@va.gov. Telephone responses shall not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than 2:00 p.m. September 13, 2016. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
