- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a sole source fixed-price contract to Voyager Search, Inc. The purpose is to provide licensing, annual software maintenance for two (2) perpetual license and technical support. Additionally, the procurement of a new license is required to assist with software maintenance and development. This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Title 41 United States Code 1901(e) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii) Prepare sole source (including band name) justifications using the format at 6.303-2, modified to reflect that the procedures in FAR subpart 13.5 were used in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901 or the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1903. However, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting officer within fifteen (15) days of publication of this announcement. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received by 24 September 2016, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will proceed with awarding a fixed price contract to Voyager Search, Incorporated Point of contact for this requirement is Erica L.
