- Attachment 1_Terms and Conditions Attachment 2-Salient_Characteristics_CTD_Cable Specification & Requirements/Solicitation 1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. Solicitation number N62306-16-T-9011 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-85-1 and DFARS Publication Notice 20151230. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: https://www.acquisition.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfarspgi/current/index.html. The NAICS code is 335929 - Other communication and energy wire manufacturing. Size Standard is 1000 employees. 3. The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO), Stennis Space Center, MS, intends to a Firm Fixed Price contract for Sea Cable for the CTD System. 4. The procedures at FAR 13.106 apply to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price, technical capability and past performance considered. NOTE: Please specifically show what capabilities your business has, to meet this requirement (process, equipment, facilities, etc). All quotes must state in detail how the requirements of the statement of work will be met (i.e. equipment, process, facilities, etc.). See 52.212-1 for Submission of Offers. 5. Offers are to be received via electronic mail (e-mail) no later than 1:00 p.m. Central Time on 22 September 2016. No extensions to this solicitation will be granted. Submit offers to MAJ Kevin H.
