Description

Justification to Solicit Brand Name The NASA/SSC Office of Procurement intends to award a firm‐fixed price contract for the purchase of a Fluke Flow Calibrator and listed options. The items listed are to be "Name Brand". All items are to be new items. Used or refurbished items are not acceptable and will not be considered for award. This is a brand name commercial acquisition under the authority of FAR Part 12 and FAR Subpart 13.5. The Government believes only one brand name can provide the services that will satisfy the Agency's requirements. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 334519 and 500 employees respectively. FOB is destination. Responses are due NLT 4:00 p.m. (local time) on September 23, 2016. An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B".
