Description

Government Response to Questions submitted. AMENDMENT 02 The Purpose of Amendment 02 is to respond to questions submitted by the deadline set forth in the Instructions to Offerors. Question No. 1 RFP Attachment No. B Page 3 Section 1.3 Paragraph 1.3.2.9.3 Since the barriers have not been used regularly, is a four hour response time necessary? This would cause the cost of a bid to be significantly higher than it would be otherwise. Would a longer response time suffice? Government Response Yes, the four-hour response time is necessary. No, a longer response time will not suffice. The four-hour response time to repair requests to begin diagnosis or repairs to the systems is covered under the $20,000 not to exceed limit of the PWS (1.3.2.9.4) and should not affect the total cost of the bid. The bid for that line item must be $20,000.
