- CNC Lathe Cover CNC Lathe SOW CNC Lathe Clauses This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 1. Solicitation number FA3016-16-N-0265 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). 2. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89. 3. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 333517 with a Small Business size standard of 500 Employees. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. 4. Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001 applies with a Quantity and Unit of Issue of 1 Each. The desired delivery and completion date is 30 days after receipt of order. 5. Description of Requirement: Provide all labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment and supervision needed to Provide and Install a CNC Lathe and Accessories, Haas Brand Name or Equal in accordance with attached Salient Characteristics/Statement of Work. Delivery and Acceptance will FOB Destination Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, TX. 6. The following clauses and/or provisions apply to this RFQ and are included in Attachment 1 with Addenda where applicable. 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, include a completed copy with the quote 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items (Deviation) 7. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating program does not apply to this requirement. 8. A single firm-fixed-price contract will be issued to the responsible, responsive quoter submitting the lowest-priced technically acceptable quote. See provision 52.212-2 for additional information. Enter prices on Attachment 3 RFQ Cover Sheet. Round prices up to the 2nd decimal point. If quoting an equivalent product(s) provide sufficient documentation to enable a thorough technical evaluation for product acceptability. 9. The time and date for receipt of quotes is not later than 19 September 2016 at 4:00PM Central Time. Submit quotes to the Contract Specialist, Leketa Cunningham at leketa.cunningham@us.af.mil with a copy to the Contracting Officer, Vivian Fisher at vivian.fisher@us.af.mil. Quotes may also be mailed to 502 CONS/JBKCA/ATTN: Leketa Cunningham/395 B Street West, Suite 2/Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph 78150 or hand-delivered (however, offerors are cautioned of potential delays that will be encountered during base access). Quotes are to remain valid for a period of not less than 45 days and e-mail is the preferred method of transmission. 10. Quotes received after the date and time specified will be considered "late" and may not be eligible for award consideration. Funds are not presently available for this action, therefore, this RFQ is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the United States Air Force. The Government is NOT liable for any costs and/or activity associated with providing a response to this announcement. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the government for reimbursement.
