End of Amendment 0001 ______________________________________ UPDATE: September 2, 2016 Reference: Traffic Flow Management Follow On (TFM2) SIR/RFO # DTFAWA-16-R-00010 The FAA has considered vendor requests for additional proposal preparation time for the subject SIR/RFO, and agrees to extend the proposal due date from September 13, 2016, to November 7, 2016, 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The FAA is preparing to release Amendment 001 to address remaining questions, comments and recommendations, and anticipates that the amendment will be released within a week of this announcement. End of Announcement ______________________________________ DTFAWA-16-R-00010- Correction#: 002 Date of Correction 002 “ 08/03/2016 Summary of Changes: Description of Changes: Correction #002 is issued to correct the following administrative errors: 1. Attachment C: œC_TFM2_2016-07-30 is corrected to remove the word œDRAFT from the cover page and to add the SIR number to the header of all pages. No other content changes are made to the document. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. End of Correction 002 _______________________________________________________ DTFAWA-16-R-00010- Correction#: 001 Date of Correction 001 “ 08/03/2016 Summary of Changes: Description of Changes: Correction #001 is issued to correct the following administrative errors: 1. Announcement Abstract: Correction of day of the week referenced in proposal due date: The last sentence of the announcement abstract is changed from œProposals must be received by the Contracting Officer by Friday, September 13th, 2016 to œProposals must be received by the Contracting Officer by Tuesday, September 13th, 2016. 2. Attachment L-4 : œL-4 TFM2 Cost-Price Mapping Matrix 2016-07-26 version is replaced with version œL-4 Cost-Price Mapping Matrix 2016-8-01. End of Correction 001 _______________________________________________________ This Screening Information Request (SIR) is issued in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) 3.2.1.3.11. All interested parties are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this SIR. Therefore, any costs associated with and submissions from an interested party will be solely at their expense. Any proprietary or confidential information submitted in response to this SIR should be appropriately marked. I. INTRODUCTION/ BACKGROUND The FAA ™s Air Traffic Systems Decision Support Programs office has a requirement for services to provide the continued development and implementation of Traffic Flow Management (TFM) enhancements and new capabilities to support the safe and efficient movement of aircraft through the National Airspace System (NAS). The Traffic Flow Management System (TFMS) assists Traffic Management personnel with predicting demand, identifying constraints, facilitating information sharing, modeling and collaboration of impact mitigation strategies. II. CONTRACT TYPE & PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The FAA contemplates award of a Hybrid type contract resulting from this SIR. The total period of performance of this contract is twelve (12) years to include one (1) four (4) year base period and eight (8) one (1) year option periods. The FAA intends to make one award under this solicitation. The FAA reserves the right to make no award if such action is determined to be in the FAA ™s best interest. III. SET-ASIDE DETERMINATION & NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE This procurement is not a small business set-aside. This procurement is issued under complex non-commercial competitive procedures IAW FAA AMS T.3.2.2. The Principal North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541512, Engineering Services. The size standard for this NAICS code is $27.5M. IV.
