THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, bids, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) - Southern Tier in North Chicago, IL is soliciting businesses for maintenance and support services to provide maintenance and repairs on two Girton brand washers in Veterinary Medical Unit (VMU) located at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital (VAH) in Hines, IL. The scope of this requirement is to provide preventive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance and repair for the following cage wash units: a.Girton Tunnel Washer: Heavy duty, conveyorized, hydro-spray washer designed for thorough, efficient cleaning of cages, debris pans, bottles, feeder bowls, and miscellaneous items used in the care of laboratory animals. b.Girton Rack and Cage Washer: Heavy duty, large capacity hydro-spray washer designed for thorough, efficient cleaning of cages, racks, debris pans, and miscellaneous items used in the care of laboratory animals. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and transportation necessary to complete the required work. The Contractor shall have ready access to parts and be able to ensure a prompt response time to all service requirements. The NAICS Code is 811310 with a Size Standard of $7,500,000.00 in annual revenue. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center is conducting a market survey to determine the existence of potential vendors with the capability to fulfill this acquisition. Contractor must be able to meet all requirements of the Statement of Work. Interested parties shall provide a brief overview of their firm's capabilities and past experience with projects similar in scope to this project. Capability statements shall also include: a.DUNS number b.Organization Name c.Organization Address d.Point of Contact (including name, title, addresses, telephone number, fax number and Email address) e.Business size (small business, other than small business, Woman-Owned, etc...) f.Socio-economic status ( If SDVOSB or VOSB - provide SDVOSB or VOSB CVE verification) (All information shall be submitted in Word or PDF format, not to exceed 5 pages, including all attachments.) Firms shall identify whether they are a small business or other than small business in accordance with the size standard for NAICS code 811310. If another NAICS code may be applicable, please identify the NAICS in your capability statement. All information must be received no later than September 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM (CST).
