- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is 60282203 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89-1. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333996 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2016-09-19 13:30:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be FORT CAMPBELL, KY 42223 The MICC Fort Campbell requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001: HYDRAULIC POWER UNIT- Part #5J210EA1C4 Specifications: Fluid MIL-PRF-83282 Pressure 250-4000 (17-276) psi (bar) Pressure Gauge Max 6000 (410) psi (bar) Motor 30 (22) hp (kW) Pump Flow (50 Hz) 16.7 (63) gpm (lpm) Pump Flow (60 Hz) 20 (76) gpm (lpm) Pressure Hose 12 (3/4") size Return Hose 16 (1") size Weight 1650 (748) lb (kg) 1.Customer willing to fluctuate the size of the HPU as long as it is not a dramatic increase. They would like to keep it as close to the dimensions as possible. Since they are trying to upgrade the size of the tank, they understand that it will have to be a little bigger but maneuverability is key 2.The gauges and the flow meter panel mounted as visible during operation. Flow meter is a necessity due to different testing procedures that it would be used for. 3.It is for hangar use. Some concrete sections, some painted sections, and some sections are painted with a non-skid for slip prevention. Currently our HPUs do not have the wagon style steering and is not a necessity, but it would be perfectly fine to have if we had to. Rubber coated wheels are preferred. Fork pockets are not a necessity 4.QD style would be ideal for the plumbing, but is not a necessity 5.All of our plugs are (460R9W) (60A 30) 250VAC 223A. 6.Generally they put all excess equipment on top of the HPU. A compartment is not necessary for hose storage if that is what they mean by items. 7.Miscellaneous: No cooling requirements No heating requirements No mounting or interfacing requirements No packaging/shipping requirements No coating requirements, 2, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, MICC Fort Campbell intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. MICC Fort Campbell is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com.Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration.
