Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs San Francisco VA Medical Center through its Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to negotiate a sole source short-term contract with Episcopal Community Services of San Francisco to provide Health Care for Homeless Veterans e under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, Other Than Full and Open Competition procedures and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The current contract is set to expire at the end of this month, and additional time is needed to establish a long-term contract. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. The solicitation is attached. Firms that believe they can meet the requirement are encouraged to identify themselves and respond in accordance with the instructions to the Contracting Officer by the due date. All information received with regard of this synopsis will be considered by the Government to determine if the more than one firm can meet the Government's requirements and is capable of providing HCHV care in San Francisco, California beginning 10/1/2016. Responses to this posting must be submitted in writing via e-mail only. Telephone responses are not acceptable. A determination not to compete the described requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
