Description

Sole Source Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock, Little Creek detachment intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 13.106(b)(1)(i) "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with SEACON to rebuild an ISMS Umbilical Cable. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Requirement: Rebuild an ISMS Umbilical Cable by installing two connectors from an existing compromised assembly onto a 600 foot length of new cable. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE) website: https://www.fbo.gov on or about 14 September 2016. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, must be considered by the agency. Responses to this notice are due on or before 4:00 PMET 26 September 2016 by email at Barbaraann.Witz@navy.mil. It is the responsibility of the offeror to confirm email receipt.
