Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations (OAO), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey, intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to General Electric (GE) Medical System Information Technologies, Inc. (GE) 9900 W, Innovation Drive; Wauwatosa, Wisconsin 53226 pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. However, in accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811213 and size standard is $11 M employees. The proposed action is for brand name Enterprise Access AssurePoint maintenance support services on a comprehensive Distributed Antenna System (DAS) located at the OVAMC at Lake Nona; 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827. All hardware maintenance support shall commence on October 1, 2016 and continue for one year. The period of performance shall consist of a 12-month base period with two optional tasks to incorporate additional facilities and four 12 month option periods for continued maintenance support services. This notification shall close on September 19, 2016 at 3PM EST.
