Description
Provide for a single, one-time purchase of AGFA IMPAX Workflow Analysis (WFA) and configuration, to support the Operational Assessment (OA) of Military Health Service (MHS) GENESIS. The key Radiology Interface for MHS GENESIS is the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). PACS is a medical imaging technology which provides economical storage and convenient access to images from multiple modalities. To communicate with PACS, the medical devices are managed by a Radiological Information System (RIS). AGFA IMPAX system communicates with the RIS. This WFA and configuration will ensure MHS GENESIS will be able to continue to archive medical images on PACS. The purpose of this procurement is to provide AGFA IMPAX Work Flow Analysis and configuration of MHS GENESIS. The U.S. Government acquires these goods to support the OA. A successful OA will support the Full Deployment Decision of MHS GENESIS to deploy to the other 600+ DoD CONUS hospitals and clinics.
