- Description
- NOTE: The Point of Contact for this feedback forum is Mike Pearson, Email him at mike.pearson@usace.army.mil Walla Walla District, US Army Corps of Engineers will host a feedback forum titled "Feedback from Industry on Hydropower Acquisition", October 12, at Walla Walla District Headquarters, 201 N Third Avenue, Walla Walla, WA 99362. All US Army Corps of Engineer Northwestern Division districts and Bureau of Reclamation's Pacific Northwestern Division will be represented. This forum is an opportunity for government representatives to partner with the hydropower industry in order to assist USACE and BOR in their efforts to successfully execute their hydropower acquisition mission while delivering value to their stakeholders. The vision of the session is for leaders from the Federal Columbia River Power System (FCRPS) to receive feedback from leaders in the hydropower industry on our acquisition strategies and polices. We hope you can share your insight in how we can better achieve or goal of obtaining the best value from our acquisition programs. The target audience from the government side is the leaders who direct and implement the acquisition strategies from the USACE's Northwestern Division and its Districts and the Bureau of Reclamation's Pacific Northwestern Division. This includes contracting, engineering, program management and operations leaders. We do not intend this to be an event for discussion of future hydropower requirements or capability briefings. Hydropower industry participants should match the government group with your leaders that oversee the decisions and development of your bids for USACE and BOR solicitations for hydropower requirements. Hydropower Industry representatives will be afforded approximately 90 minutes to provide feedback to government representatives in an exclusive manner, meaning only one company at a time will be interacting with the government representatives. Space is limited; each company will be allowed up to five representatives to participate in their exclusive session with the government. Registration is on a first come first serve basis; if more companies register to attend than time available, the government will establish future dates and times for additional exclusive sessions. Registration: Email Mike Pearson @ mike.pearson@usace.army.mil with your company name and the names and nationalities of your company representatives. Foreign Nationals: If any industry representative is a foreign national, their name and a copy of their passport must be emailed to Mike Pearson NLT September 23, 2016.
