- Description
- Material (Red Clay Dirt) for Pond Levee Rehab at Natchitoches NFH, LA. Deliver and stockpile 8,000 tons of highly compactible clay dirt for rehabilitation of pond levees, dikes and associated roadways on-site at the Natchitoches National Fish Hatchery in Louisiana. Clay must be a minimum of 25% to 40% high shrink/high swell clay particle material. Soils must exhibit molding and or ribboning capabilities when moist and compressed by hand. It is imperative that this material be expanding type clay commonly used in building levees or used in construction activates where slopes are set and maintained at 3:1 ratio and occasionally at a 1:1 ratio.
