- CLARIFICATION TO AMENDMENT 1: A) Seed germination tests will not be required to be conducted. However, a purity test will need to be done to ensure that the undesired material does not exceed 15% of the final cleaned weight. B) The rough estimates used to calculate amounts were derived from average live seed per bulk pound - of which S&S Seeds does provide on their website for many species. It is recommended to assume and apply these same averages, therefore negating the need for germination testing. See Amendment 1 In addition to the requirements listed in Section M, the offereor shall complete and return the attached Experience Questionnaire. Past performance and experience, when combined, are more important than price when making an award determination. The intent of this solicitation is to procure services to locate, identify and map collection sites of native plant species; to collect seed from these native species; and to clean and store the seed for a habitat rehabilitation project of 80.89 acres. This project includes Reconnaissance/Surveying; Collection; Cleaning & Storage; Collection; Packaging; and Delivery of seeds.
