REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: This is a Request for Information (RFI) to identify Small Businesses able to meet the demand of a possible future requirement for a quantity of up to 600 digital scales (for personal use) per month with the same or similar characteristics to Seca Model 813. (Please see attached product sheet). Deliveries will be required within 10 calendar days After Receipt of Order (ARO). VA is not at this time seeking proposals, and will not accept unsolicited proposals. All responses shall be solely in the form of information and materials. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR OFFERS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. Vendors wishing to participate in this possible future solicitation shall provide the following information: Company Name, Company Address, Socio-economic status, Brief Synopsis with product characteristics the company offers that they believe will meet this proposed need, and a Signed Manufacturer's Letter attesting to the deliverability of the needed quantities for the proposed initial period of 6 months, with 4 additional option periods of 6 months each, totaling 2.5 years in all. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Has Special Authority for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business/Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB/VOSB) Set-aside and Sole Source Contracts. SVDOSBs and VOSBs must be registered with VetBiz. Please indicate if you are an SVDOSB or VOSB and if you are in the VetBiz VIP database. The tough rubber coating takes the heaviest challenges lightly and the flat construction makes stepping on very easy. A scale of sturdiness - with a touch of elegance.
