- The Naval Health Research Center intends to request for a quotation for three year preventive maintenance agreement. Requirement description are as noted below. The NAICS for this is 811219. Naval Health Research Center requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with System for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM. For additional information and to register to SAM, please access the following website https://www.sam.gov/. In order to register with SAM and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a DUN & Bradstreet Number. A DUN & Bradstreet Number maybe acquired free of charge by contacting Dun & Bradstreet online at https://dnb.com/products/eupdate/requestOptions.html or by phone (800) 333-0505. Descriptions: 1. Equipment Information: (1) 12 KVA APC UPS and Batteries (1) 16 KVA APC UPS and Batteries 2. Two (2) PM visits per year 3. Scheduled preventive maintenance must include inspection, testing, cleaning, adjusting, lubricating, and other services necessary or desirable to reduce or eliminate all premature equipment failure or downtime. A. All Power Systems: At least every one hundred eighty days, we will: - Tighten all electrical connections - Inspect all PCB boards for cracks or damage - Check and record input/output voltage and amperage readings - Calibrate metering - Perform safety shutdown function tests - Exercise all circuit breakers - Inspect all AC & DC capacitors for leakage or swelling - Perform system ride through or outage test (at customers request only) - Provide customer with a maintenance report with the date of inspection. - Perform all preventative maintenance according to the procedures and at the frequencies recommended by the manufacturer of the Equipment. B. All Sealed Battery Systems: At least every one hundred eighty days, we will: - Re-torque all battery terminal connections per manufactures specifications - Check and record each individual battery voltage - Check and record each battery condition (e.g., Good, Borderline, or Replace) - Check and record battery cold cranking amps (CCA) or impedance - Inspect battery casing for swelling or cracks - Inspect battery terminal post for leakage or damage - Provide customer with a maintenance report with the date of inspection.
