Description
SUBJECT: Request for information (RFI), Synopsis for John Deere SB72B Snow Blower. The Department of Veterans Affairs, in conjunction with the National Cemetery Administration (NCA). is seeking a better understanding of the market capability for the proposed equipment above. The purpose of this Request for information (RFI) is to obtain information on the capability of vendors to provide John Deere SB72B Snow Blower for the National Cemetery Administration (NCA). This RFI allows potential contractor to submit a non-binding statement of interest and documentation demonstrating their capabilities, and suggestions that will allow the Government to refine its potential course of action. The RFI effort is intended to assess available sources capabilities, and solicit feedback for acquisition planning purposes. The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) is requesting responses from qualified suppliers and/or businesses concerns. The NAICS code for this effort is 333112. SEE ATTACHED SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS INSTRUCTIONS: NCA is looking for interested Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) for a possible set-aside. Submit a brief description, four (4) pages or less (including cover letter) that demonstrates your company's ability to provide John Deere SB72B Snow Blower. You should also demonstrate your company's ability to provide these products. Demonstrate your past experience in performing these services for the past two years to include your contract number and your socioeconomic status. Responses should include business size, business type, socio-economic status. All interested parties must be registered SAM and verified in VETBIZ. Please provide a copy of your FSS or GSA schedule, if applicable. Please submit your responses to the Contracting Specialist, Auvorie Benson at auvorie.benson@va.gov. Responses are due by 11:00 AM EST September 19, 2016. DISCLAIMER: Issuance of this RFI or Sources Sought is to assist the VA in determining sources only and does not commit or bind the Government under any circumstances, nor does it constitute any obligation whatsoever on the part of the Government to procure these services or to issue a solicitation, nor to notify respondents of the results of this notice. No solicitation documents exist at this time; the Department of Veterans Affairs is neither seeking proposals nor accepting unsolicited proposals, and responses to this RFI or Sources Sought cannot be accepted as offers. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Any information the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI or Sources Sought ?. John Deere Model SB72B Snow Blower (attachment) Salient Characteristics: "Two-stage hydraulic blower throws snow up to 13 m (45 ft). "Simplified direct-drive hydraulic motor design eliminates chains and sprockets. "Case drain hose not required on high-flow models. "High-volume 635-mm (25-in.) (standard-flow models) or 914-mm (36-in.) (high-flow models) shroud "Openings enable you to work quickly. "Electric-over-hydraulic (standard- and high-flow models) poly-lined chute and deflector make it easy "To direct the snow. "Skid shoes adjust easily, and bolt-on wear-resistant tapered steel edges are easy to replace. "Like all Worksite Pro attachments, these snow blowers are optimized to work with John Deere skid "Steers and compact track loaders. *This attachment must be compatible to a John Deere Skid- Steer model 320E.
