Description

The Service Area Office (SAO) East intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Biomomentum, Inc., 970 Rue Michelin, Bureau 200, Laval, QC, N7L 5C1, Canada, to purchase a Mach-1 v500c - Manual Indentation Mapping Unit for the Chu Research Laboratory at the Portland VA Medical Center. The investigator will be utilizing the above named item in support of his funded research cartilage repair study. The following equipment will be purchased: ITEM INFORMATION ITEM NUMBERDESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES/SERVICESQUANTITYUNIT 0001MACH-1 V500C MECHANICAL TESTER CONFIGURED AS PER QB524 LOCAL STOCK NUMBER: MA056-C 1.00EA This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any responsible sources who wish to identify their interest and capability to provide this equipment must notify this Contracting Specialist at millicent.covert@va.gov, NLT Monday, September 19, 2016 by noon EST. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Upon receipt of the interested parties' notification, the Contracting Specialist will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations.
