Description

Subject: Ureteroscopes This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation/commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential Small Businesses, including Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing) with a size standard of 1,000 employees. Olympus America, Inc. is known to meet the Government's needs. The Government is requesting that responsible sources respond if it can provide ureteroscopes with the following salient characteristics: 1.Compatible with cystoscope light cords 2.Flexible Sterrad compatible scopes 3.33cm in length 4.Two working channel: 5.4 Fr, 2.1Fr 5.Diameter: 9.4Fr distal tip 6.Five degree direction of view 7.Sterrad Sterilizable This is not a Request for Quote or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submissions will not be returned to the sender. VOSBs and SDVOSBs are required to be registered and verified in VIP (https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov) for consideration. Responses must be submitted by e-mail to Antanette.Shellaugh@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 1:00 pm Central Standard Time on Tuesday, September 20, 2016.
