Description

This is Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the Solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written Solicitation is attached. This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside requirement only qualified offers may submit bids. Solicitation VA-244-16-Q-1663 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and constitutes the solicitation, a written solicitation is attached. NAICS Code is 238220 and size standard is $15.M. Any firm that does not meet the capability and size standard under this NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. Contract Type: The government anticipates awarding Firm Fixed Price Purchase Award. Award will be made to the lowest price quote which conforms to the requirements within this solicitation. Service Contract Act (SCA) Wage and Determination rules and regulations are applicable to this request and can be accessed at http://www.wdol.gov In order to be considered for a government award, the firm must be registered in SAM @ www.sam.gov. Description of Services: The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to clean the Pharmacy and White Team Unit and all associated supply and return duct work. The cleaning shall be conducted utilizing methods identified in the General section on the RFQ. All service will be provided at the VA Erie Medical Center, 135 East 38th Street, Erie, Pa 16504. A site visit is scheduled September 20, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Site visit location: VA Erie Medical Center, 135 East 38th Street, Erie, Pa 16504. POC: Jered Carr at 814.602.1615 or David Dombkowski at 814.440.5259. Contact Mr. Carr or Mr. Dombkowski to participate in the site visit. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted to the Contract Specialist in writing by e-mail to Johnny.Barton@va.gov no later than 4:00 PM EST, September 22, 2016. All responses to questions will be incorporated into a written amendment posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov). Amendments to this Solicitation: Offerors are encouraged to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities website with respect to this solicitation because any amendments to this Solicitation will be posted on the website (www.fbo.gov). All Quotes regarding this solicitation must be submitted to the Contract Specialist in writing by e-mail to Johnny.Barton@va.gov no later than 1:00 PM EST, September 26, 2016.
