- SYNOPSIS: A contract is needed for off-site Tele-radiology Interpretation Services to be performed for the Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC), 4212 N. 16th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85016 for the Base Period December 1, 2016 through November 30, 2017, plus four (4) option years. The contract will have but not limited to the following requirement: a) The Contractor shall perform off-site teleradiology for PIMC which is located at 4212 N. 16th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85016. b) Afterhours on Monday through Thursday from 4:30pm - 7:30 am and Friday from 4:30pm to Monday 7:30 am with 24 hours holiday coverage of teleradiology interpretation service for computerized tomography (CT) and Ultrasound (US) and occasional afterhours coverage for plain radiographs (X-ray). Most studies will be designated "emergent." c) As needed, weekday, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies and mammography. These studies will be designated as "routine." d) Contacting the IHS emergency room physician or ordering provider immediately in the event that the interpretation of a study suggests a significant health risk to the patient. e) Be available 24/7 for questions from providers concerning the Contractor's study interpretations. Contractor will define the method for contacting the Radiologist. f) Providing teleradiology reception capability compatible with the PIMC and Phoenix Area Indian Health Service (PAIHS) teleradiology system. Contractor is responsible for expenses outside of the IHS network. g) Providing all transcription services, including an HL-7 bidirectional interface for transcription reception utilizing "Thin-air Teleris" software or other methods deemed acceptable by government. Contractor is responsible for all expenses including, but not limited to, technical support, license fees, software, etc., to provide the interface and transcription services. h) Providing any supplies, service personnel and transportation required to perform the contractual services obligation. i) Provide a point of contact for network and technical issues 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. j) Provide a point of contact for interpretation/clinical issues 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
